Heather is one of our wonderful Pack Leaders in our Day Camp yards! She comes to Camp K9 with ample prior experience working at a different boarding facility as well as a veterinary hospital. She has extensive knowledge on diverse dog temperaments and breeds and what it takes to safely manage large pack sizes. She hopes to one day open her own rescue facility, in a farm-based environment, to provide all pups with love and high-quality care. Her favorite aspect of Camp K9 is the extensive temperament testing we do for the dogs at day camp to ensure we are cultivating a safe environment for all canines and staff. In her free time she loves hanging out with all of her rescue and foster dogs (and cat), attending dog training and canine-focused workshops, and kayaking.
